NZ Essence Limited was formed in 2006 by Kirsten Taylor and Kate Sutherland, in response to their own desire to be able to enjoy all natural body products. Despite many claims that products are “natural”, they had found that the vast majority were synthetic based. Evidence is not yet conclusive, however, the use of parabens and other non-natural ingredients are coming under increased scientific scrutiny. If you had the choice why would you want to use them?

Kirsten has a background in Biotechnology whilst Kate’s experience is in the business sector. Together they have teamed up to bring you the all new natural range “Mirasence”.

Both Kirsten and Kate have young families and are passionate about raising the awareness of the benefits of natural based formulations. By creating their brand “Mirasence” they aim to offer adults and children a beautiful hand crafted range of body care products which contain no harsh chemical ingredients, at an affordable price.

Products within the ranges are body lotions, bath and shower gels, soaps, lip balms and a baby bottom balm. All are manufactured in New Zealand to high quality specifications and are laboratory tested. Almost 100% of ingredients are naturally derived.
