Our philosophy is to use naturally derived ingredients. Skincare products made from natural ingredients are gentle on the skin and offer nourishing, moisturising and healing properties. Synthetic products can leach nutrients from the skin leaving it feeling dry and dehydrated.

• Our preservatives are predominantly plant derived. This means our products have a shorter shelf life, in most cases 12 – 24 months.
• We do not use synthetic fragrances or colours
• Beeswax is the only animal derived ingredient used
• We do not use parabens, mineral oils or harsh detergents (eg. Sodium lauryl sulphate)
• Our product is not tested on animals
• Our products are suitable for all skin types. However, as with all skin products, sensitivity may occur. If your skin is very sensitive, we recommend patch testing before use – apply product to the inside of the elbow and check in 24 hours. The products should not be applied to cracked, inflamed or broken skin.

As Kate and Kirsten have young children, they are passionate about offering parents a naturally based skincare range. In addition, they hope that the “Cosmic” range provides young girls with another option – something far more beneficial to their skin than all of the artificially coloured and scented (not to mention glittery!) products widely available.

It is recommended that water only be used on babies skins for the first 2 – 4 weeks, as it takes this amount of time for the newborn (full term) baby’s skin to develop a protective layer. Then introduce gentle products such as “Little Squirts”.
